The Master Compressor range includes sports watches that are characterized by precision and reliability on the one hand and a decidedly sporty design on the other. The watches from the Master Compressor collection are extremely robust and ensure the optimum features for both extreme sports as well as the journeys of everyday life.

Among many other features, the Master Compressor collection offers a stopwatch function with the Master Compressor Chronograph. The timepiece embodies both classic and sporty elements. The dial of the watch is available in black or anthracite while the casing of the watch is comprised of rose gold or stainless steel. Ticking at the heart of the watch is the automatic chronograph manufacture movement JLC751.

In 2005, Jaeger-LeCoultre presented the Master Compressor Extreme World Chronograph wristwatch, which features a patented shock absorber system that protects the self-winding chronograph movement from unprecedented shocks. The innovative mechanism is fitted with a casing comprised of titanium, stainless steel, or a combination of both titanium and platinum.

The Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm is for those who place importance on the alarm function of a watch. The sporty timepiece is available in many different versions, some of which are limited in numbers. But whether it is the rose gold Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm – a version that is dedicated to the legendary motorcyclist Valentino Rossi – or the titanium Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm, the timepiece always exudes a stylish sense of athleticism and energy on the wrist.

The collection also presents the Master Compressor Geographic – a world timer watch that displays different time zones. The Master Compressor Geographic is the perfect timepiece for all sportive globetrotters. Furthermore, the Master Compressor Dualmatic incorporates a dual time zone function that allows the wearer to keep easy track of two time zones at once. The case of the watch is optionally available in rose gold, white gold or stainless steel while the dial of the watch is comprised of black or brown coal.

In keeping with the sporty style of the Master Compressor collection, the Master Compressor Diving is a robust timepiece that allows for the reliable and precise keeping of time while exploring the underwater world.

Launched in 2007, the Master Compressor Diving Chronograph is water resistant to 1000 meters – a considerable depth for a chronograph. Among other features, the compression key system, which effectively seals both the crown and the dial of the chronograph, is a very functional and valued element of the Master Compressor Diving Chronograph. The case of the watch is available in robust titanium or exquisite rose gold. The dial of the watch is black and fitted with luminescent numerals.

Another distinct model is the Master Compressor Diving Pro Geographic. Not only is the timepiece a diver’s watch, it also incorporates a world time function. The watch is fitted with a mechanical depth gauge on the side of the case that reads up to 80 meters and comes equipped with a logarithmic scale.

The Master Compression Diving GMT combines a waterproof function up to 1000 meters with a practical GMT function and, therefore, displays a second time zone. Along with the standard 44-millimeter case, the watch is also available in a large-scale version that measures 46.3-millimeters. Optimal legibility is also offered here thanks to luminescent numerals and hour markers.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has introduced a stringent 1000 hour test for the Master series – a system referred to as the 1000 Hours Control by the Manufacture. The Master Compressor timepieces are not exempt from this rigorous test.

Every Master Compressor timepiece is tested for 1000 hours – a time period that equates to nearly 6 weeks – and only when the timepieces pass these tough trials will they be delivered to their new home. Jaeger-LeCoultre reproduces the conditions of real life wear in order to test the timepieces. The tests are therefore much more strict compared to the standards set out by conventional chronometer tests –such as the standards set out by Bureaux du Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC). When the watches eventually pass the tests, they then receive the “1000 Hours Control” seal, further demonstrating the reliability and durability of Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces.
