Tudor Heritage Chronograph

The Tudor Heritage chronographs incorporate the latest technology from modern times and enjoy international popularity among connoisseurs and collectors.

Tudor Oyster Date Chronograph as inspiration

Tudor Heritage Chronograph lets icon cheer

The Tudor Oyster Date Chronograph from the 1970s serves as a source of inspiration to the design of the Tudor Heritage Chrono. The timepieces incorporate vintage elements and are now extremely popular instruments that enjoy a perpetually growing demand on the market for used watches. The exterior elements of the Heritage Chrono remember the past; yet have been reinvented with modern design preferences. The interior of the watch has been fitted with the latest technology, ensuring that the timepiece meets the high precision standards that have come to be known of today’s luxury watches. The soft lines of the timepiece have undergone careful remodelling and impress with contours reminiscent of the world of motorsports. Race cars once dominated the designs of this iconic horological creation and inspired Tudor to pair sporty design elements with the highest technical advancements.

The design of the robust watch case and unidirectional bezel correspond to that of the original model from the 1970s. Elements down to the smallest details, including the colourful dial and the distinctive totalizers, remember the iconic chronograph from past times. Modernised details include the rounded and polished crown protector and the bevelled edges of the lugs. Furthermore, the pushers surrounding the watch crown have been subjected to a modernised makeover. The case dimensions have increased to measure 42-millimeters in diameter, ensuring that the timepiece fits perfectly on the wrist of any style-conscious individuals.

Vintage design & innovative mechanisms

Heritage Chrono: a technical marvel

The movements incorporated into Tudor timepieces are both reliable and accurate instruments. Operating inside the first-class Tudor Heritage Chrono is a self-winding mechanical movement that is fitted with an additional mechanism for the chronograph function. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour and is equipped with a power reserve of approximately 42-hours.

The graphics of the timepiece are inspired by the design of the original Oyster Date Chronograph. The rotating bezel with a 12-hour scale along with outer minute track displayed on the dial of the watch, perfectly equate one another with an orange, blue, and grey colour scheme. A 45-minute totalizer can be found at the 9 o’clock marker, whereas the small seconds subdial is located at the three o’clock position. Furthermore, a subtle date display is placed at the 6 o’clock marker. The detailed dial is protected by a robust sapphire crystal watch glass. In addition, the Heritage Chrono is waterproof up to 150 meters.

The modern Tudor heritage Chrono (Ref. 70330N) is equipped with a matching orange, blue, and grey striped fabric strap, which is reminiscent of a seatback buckle and further emphasises the connection of the brand to the world of motorsports. In addition, the watch is optionally available in a three-row stainless steel bracelet that is fastened with a secure clasp and stamped with the iconic Tudor emblem.

The second model of the series

Royal Blue with Grey: Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue

The Tudor heritage Chrono Blue (Ref. 70330B) revives the design of the 1973 timepiece with the utilisation of a slightly lighter shade of grey. The watch dial exudes a Mediterranean summer vacation feel and is strongly reminiscent of its iconic predecessor, the Tudor Monte Carlo Chronograph (Ref. 7169). The striking colour accents of the timepiece ensure that it is highly recognised. Furthermore, the timepiece highlights the wrist of any style-conscious individual.

The reinterpretation of the iconic timepiece results in an intensifying feeling of sun, glamour, and nonchalance, while concurrently convincing with robust and functional elements. The technical sophistication of the timepiece ensures durable mechanism, making the Heritage Chrono Blue a reliable companion on the wrist.

Tom Cruise, Alan Cumming & others

Watch collectors and enthusiasts worldwide are enjoying the models from the house of Tudor. Watch lovers simply appreciate the extraordinary passion and precision that is placed into the manufacturing of each Tudor timepiece. A Tudor timepiece brings a bold accent to style-conscious clientele and easily adapts to the personal styles of its wearers. Unusual materials and unique aesthetics conjure a unique timepiece that captivates with a vintage charm.

When it comes to the field of cinematography, the Heritage Chrono can be witnessed in the “Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol" movie, strapped around the wrist of Tom Cruise. Furthermore, actors Alan Cumming and Joey Slotnick, along with New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey, are among the influential brand ambassadors of Tudor, who perfectly capture the retro style of the Heritage models.
