Heritage Chrono: a technical marvel
The movements incorporated into Tudor timepieces are both reliable and accurate instruments. Operating inside the first-class Tudor Heritage Chrono is a self-winding mechanical movement that is fitted with an additional mechanism for the chronograph function. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour and is equipped with a power reserve of approximately 42-hours.
The graphics of the timepiece are inspired by the design of the original Oyster Date Chronograph. The rotating bezel with a 12-hour scale along with outer minute track displayed on the dial of the watch, perfectly equate one another with an orange, blue, and grey colour scheme. A 45-minute totalizer can be found at the 9 o’clock marker, whereas the small seconds subdial is located at the three o’clock position. Furthermore, a subtle date display is placed at the 6 o’clock marker. The detailed dial is protected by a robust sapphire crystal watch glass. In addition, the Heritage Chrono is waterproof up to 150 meters.
The modern Tudor heritage Chrono (Ref. 70330N) is equipped with a matching orange, blue, and grey striped fabric strap, which is reminiscent of a seatback buckle and further emphasises the connection of the brand to the world of motorsports. In addition, the watch is optionally available in a three-row stainless steel bracelet that is fastened with a secure clasp and stamped with the iconic Tudor emblem.
