Omega Seamaster Titanium: Toolwatch made of the perfect material
Titanium is the ideal material for toolwatches: the metal is significantly lighter and more resistant than stainless steel and, therefore, offers a high level of wearing comfort and a high degree of resistance to scratches. With the Omega Seamaster Titan, the Swiss manufacturer has had a trend-setting watch in its portfolio since the 1980s. The titanium version is now available in numerous Seamaster collections.
At CHRONEXT, you can get the Omega Seamaster titanium as well as many other models in the collection at attractive prices. All our watches are available immediately or at short notice and have been inspected for authenticity by our certified CHRONEXT watchmakers before sale. 24 months warranty included.
Models from five collections
Since the biggest update in the history of the Seamaster in 1993, the collection has been continuously offered in titanium. Since then, the variety of Omega Seamaster titanium models has been constantly expanded and extended. No wonder, because the metal offers many advantages over stainless steel. In addition, it also cuts an excellent figure as a material mix, as in the case of the Seamaster Titanium/Gold. You can now find the Omega Seamaster titanium in five different collections:
- Omega Seamaster Polaris (Vintage, 1980s, only as Omega Seamaster Titanium/Gold)
- Omega Seamaster Diver 300M
- Omega Seamaster Ploprof
Seamaster Titanium/Gold as vintage and new model
Omega has been combining titanium with yellow gold since the 1980s. With the Seamaster Polaris, the Biel-based manufacturer has brought a watch with the characteristic material mix of titanium and gold to the market for the first time. The majority of the Polaris models are Omega Seamaster titanium/quartz versions; the mechanical Polaris models are extremely rare and only available on the second-hand market.
To this day, the Seamaster made of titanium/gold is produced in different versions and with different complications. For several years, Omega has been using the material mix alongside titanium, warm Sedna gold and tantalum – a graphite grey metal that is used for the bezel base, among other things.
Omega Seamaster Titanium: Diver, Aqua Terra, Planet Ocean and Ploprof
Of all the collections, the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M is the classic model. The watch has only been carefully developed since its launch in 1993 and is one of the greatest toolwatch classics in the world of fine timepieces. The Aqua Terra, on the other hand, is a Dressdiver that is water-resistant up to 150 metres. The Planet Ocean and the Ploprof were designed for professional and uncompromising diving missions: the Planet Ocean can withstand water pressure of up to 600 metres, while the Ploprof allows dives of up to 1,200 metres. Its name comes from the French "plongeur professionnel" and stands for "professional diver".
While the majority of the collection consists of three-hand watches, part of the Omega Seamaster Titan is also available as a chronograph. What all Titan watches have in common is that they offer cutting-edge watchmaking and are not just a reliable timepiece for their wearer, thanks to Omega's innovative power. Seamaster models in titanium offer luxurious understatement for connoisseurs.
