Longines Master Collection

Longines Master Collection: Models and prices. New, used, vintage

Longines Master Collection

Longines can look back on a long and fascinating history. As the oldest registered watch brand in the world, the company has remained relevant and highly sought out following 180 years of horological masterpieces. The company has once again proven it savoir-faire with the Longines master Collection.

A traditional watch company

The Longines Master Collection

Founded in 1832 in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, Longines stands for exceptional watches, sophisticated designs, and brilliant mechanics. The Master Collection continues the longstanding Longines tradition and builds upon the successful company philosophy. Aside from the exceptional quality of these timepieces, clients highly appreciate the classic aesthetics of the Master Collection. Launched in 2005, the growing Master collection fulfils the wishes of Longines clients who are searching for a reliable yet timeless timepiece.

The Longines Master collection draws inspiration from excellent past accomplishments and performances. The famous Longines Weems model from the 1920s has served as a muse for the Master collection, subsequently resulting in strikingly robust timepieces that are comprised of stainless steel. Meanwhile, Longines has supplemented the Master collection with a diverse material range, including 18-carat yellow gold and rose gold. The men’s watches from the Master Collection are fitted with exquisite complications that simply quicken the watch lover’s heartbeat.

The Master Collection initially placed emphasis on male wrists but has now expanded to suit the delicate wrists of ladies. Extravagant material pairings and exciting colour combinations complement the intricate technical functions of the timepieces, including an exquisite moon phase display.

Watchmaking art on the wrist

The many facets of the Master Collection

Since its launch in 2005, the Longines Master collection has been celebrating great successes. Their achievements in the world of watchmaking are due to the production of high-quality watches as well as the masterful production of movements. Traditional yet modern, the models from the Longines master collection beautifully embody the values of the traditional company.

In order to cater to a wide range of preferences, the Master Collection watch models are presented in a case size of 38.5, 40, 42, 44 or 47.5-millimeters. The Master collection is comprised of watch models that are fitted with over ten different mechanical calibres that are optionally available with automatic or manual winding. Evidently, the Longines Master Collection embraces the idea of diversity, which is further reflected in the range of materials utilised in the production of the timepieces. The watch cases are presented in stainless steel, rose gold, or yellow gold and are equipped with transparent case backs that allow for insight into the sparkling heart of the watch movement. The bracelets of the watches perfectly match the watch case, and are, therefore, also available in sleek stainless steel, classic yellow gold, or elegant rose gold. Furthermore, the timepieces can always be fitted with a traditional brown leather strap. The watchstraps of the Master Collection ensure maximum comfort and ease since they are practically fastened with a secure folding clasp.
