A success story since 1837
With a diverse collection of high-quality wristwatches, Tiffany brings forth its timeless design aesthetic that can be worn on the wrists of men and women alike
The Tiffany & Co. success story began on September 14, 1837, when the first store opened its doors at 259 Broadway in New York. The founder of the company, Charles Lewis Tiffany, set out on creating unique and top quality pieces of jewellery with which he wanted to inspire the high society of New York. As we know, Tiffany & Co. went on to become one of the most popular worldwide jewellery manufacturers, and although the company was crowned with the title the “King of Diamonds”, the founder of the company had no idea that the brand would gain such a renowned level of recognition as it has today.
The then called Tiffany & Young prospered on Broadway to such an extent that it was not only New York’s high society that came to seek out the exquisite pieces, but it was also celebrities and heads of state among the prominent clientele of the jewellery manufacturer. The blue gift has become a hallmark of Tiffany & Co. and continues to embody an international symbol of quality, beauty, and luxury.
