Chopard Superfast

The exquisite Superfast was presented in 2012 by the famous Chopard family and is the trademark timepiece from the Classic Racing series. The model calls out to clients who hold a passion for high-performance race cars and timepieces. The watch was initially presented on the wrist of race car legend Jacky Icks and truly emphasized the strong relationship between Chopard and the field of motorsports. In 2015, Chopard presented the special edition Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Jacky Ickx Edition.

Initially, the superfast line was only available in red-gold cases. Currently, however, the stylish designs are presented in brushed black stainless steel and comprised of the customary robustness that has come to be known of the Classic Racing Superfast Series.

It is not only the distinctive design of the Superfast timepieces that deserves attention, but also the powerful and innovative technical components of the timepiece as well. The watch is created on site at the Chopard Manufactory in Fleurier, Switzerland. The factory has been expanded in recent years in order to heighten the quality of manufacturing within every stage of production.

The Chopard Superfast collection impresses with diversity. The Chopard Superfast Automatic offers the classic functions of a watch with a date display the 6 o’clock marker. When it comes to the Superfast Power Reserve, the date window is located at the 3 o’clock position while the power reserve indicator is located at the 9 o’clock marker. Evidently, the Superfast Chrono convinces with a structured chronograph and a bezel equipped with a tachymeter scale.

An interesting fact about the Chopard Superfast collection is that some of the models are limited editions, including the Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Edition in Steel. The watch is comprised of silver tones and is decorated with red and black design elements. The men’s timepiece was launched in celebration of the return of Porsche to Le Mans. The production of the watch has been limited to 919 pieces and pays tribute to the eponymous Porsche automobile. The "Porsche Motorsport Official Timing Partner" logo is emblazoned on the arena case back of Chopard Superfast model, which luckily showcases the Chopard movement and its exclusive open-worked bridges.
